Question: Why are there so many videos online of capybaras with oranges on their heads. Do capybaras have a particular fondness for them? Anyway, the cuteness of capybaras is undeniable.
Here we’ve made a beautiful hand-knitted capybara hand puppet in a fetching orange top. It’s classic and fun, ideal for children or story-telling adults.
It is knitted in organic cotton and measures roughly 24cm/9 inches tall, with an armspan of 21cm/8 inches.
It is designed to fit most adult hands, except very large ones.
The puppet is CE certified suitable for children age zero plus.

Brand

The ChunkiChilli story began in the Himalayan foothills, with a wedding, the chatter of kids coming out of school, and the whoosh and clatter of an old factory.

It was there that Tim and Misty came up with the idea of a business that could travel long distances, that could reach the parts of China that other businesses couldn’t reach and produce toys and gifts that would be bought and loved around the world.

In the part of Sichuan where the two got married, people were facing a difficult choice. Old state factories were closing down, leaving no option for many but to migrate to the big cities in search of work, something that almost inevitably meant leaving their children behind.

Tim and Misty launched ChunkiChilli as a craft and knitting business with a view to giving families the option to stay together. And many of our knitters took that choice, and have stuck with us for well over a decade, watching their children grow up and establish families of their own.

How much is home delivery?

Standard Tracked - FREE for orders over £50 (£4.95 for orders under £50)
Next Working Day delivery via DPD (UK mainland only) - £6.95 orders must be placed before 2pm.
International Delivery - the delivery charge will be calculated in the basket based on the weight of the order.

Standard Tracked are delivered using Royal Mail.

When will I get my order?

We aim for orders, that are placed before 2pm, are dispatched the same day Monday - Friday, during peak periods this may be slower. For priority processing select Express.
Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched the following day .
Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.
Orders for Next Working Day delivery via DPD must be placed before 2pm.
International orders will be dispatched as above, delivery times will vary dependent on destination.
