The HappySelf Journal is a daily journal for children aged 6 to 12, based on scientifically proven methods that promote happiness, develop healthy habits for life and nurture enquiring minds. Beautifully illustrated and easy to use, with just a few minutes focus each day, children benefit by being encouraged to express gratitude, reflect on their emotions and think about their actions.

• Plenty of space for different handwriting styles and enough space to draw for those children who prefer to draw their answers
• Not too much writing involved and includes fun doodling pages to explore emotions and develop self-awareness
• Tested on kids ages 6 to 12 to make sure the design and contents work across the age group
• High quality binding and A5 size make it lovely to touch and easy to hold in smaller hands
• Elastic and ribbon to keep your journal private and to mark your page
• Undated so it doesn’t matter if you skip a day. Start whenever you want and use daily or whatever pattern suits you
• The journal has a soft lie flat binding to make it easy to write in.

My First Journal and Junior Journal

The journal has 12 full weeks of daily journaling pages and a section at the front they can fill out at any time. Children are encouraged to fill out their journal every day but as the pages aren't dated it is possible to do it at your own rhythm and easy to keep going should you miss a day.    

Three months is an ideal length as it's similar to a school term and so feels achievable for the children to establish their new daily journaling habit. When testing the kids preferred this length and a longer book would have been too bulky or heavy for small hands. 

How much is home delivery?

• Standard Tracked - FREE for orders over £50  (£4.95 for orders under £40)
• Next Working Day delivery via DPD (UK mainland only)  - £6.95 orders must be placed before 2pm.
• International Delivery - the delivery charge will be calculated in the basket based on the weight of the order.

Standard Tracked are delivered using Royal Mail. 

When will I get my order?

• We aim for orders, that are placed before 2pm, are dispatched the same day Monday - Friday, during peak periods this may be slower. For priority processing select Express.
• Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched the following day .
• Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.
• Orders for Next Working Day delivery via DPD must be placed before 2pm. 
• International orders will be dispatched as above, delivery times will vary dependent on destination.
